Frequently asked questions
Can I use the API on the free plan indefinitely?
Yes. The free plan has no time limit. You can build and run real integrations with 60 req/min and all scopes included.
What is a "request" counted as?
Any authenticated API call to /api/v1/* counts as one request. Webhook deliveries and internal admin calls are not counted.
What happens if I exceed my rate limit?
We return HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header indicating when you can retry. Rate limits use a sliding window algorithm.
Can I have test and live keys on the free plan?
Yes. Both environments are available on all plans. Test keys never affect live data.
How are HMAC webhook signatures verified?
We sign every webhook payload with HMAC-SHA256 using your webhook secret. Verify the X-Nodukan-Signature header on your server.
