Overview

Introduction to the Nodukan API — build integrations, automations, and tooling on India's leading creator commerce platform.

Nodukan API

Welcome to the Nodukan Developer Platform. This is your home for building on top of India's creator commerce infrastructure — powering storefronts, lead capture, social automation, and more for thousands of independent creators.

Whether you're building a CRM integration, a custom analytics dashboard, a social scheduling tool, or an automation layer on top of Nodukan's chat and lead magnet system, the Nodukan REST API gives you full programmatic access.

What you can build#

  • Lead capture pipelines — read lead magnet submissions in real time, sync contacts to your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo)
  • Branded short links — create, manage, and track short URLs via API for campaign attribution
  • Social post scheduling — publish and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook at scale
  • Chat automations — receive webhook events when chats arrive and reply programmatically using the Auto-DM API
  • Analytics & reporting — pull social insights and lead data into your own BI tools or dashboards
  • White-label tooling — build custom creator dashboards powered by Nodukan data

Architecture#

REST API#

All API interactions happen over HTTPS at the base URL:

https://api.nodukan.com/v1

The API is resource-oriented, uses standard HTTP verbs, accepts application/json request bodies, and returns application/json responses. Every successful response wraps its payload in a data key alongside a requestId for tracing.

{
  "data": { "id": "lm_01j9x...", "title": "Free Notion Template" },
  "requestId": "req_01j9xabc..."
}

Errors follow a consistent error envelope:

{
  "error": {
    "type": "permission_error",
    "code": "insufficient_scope",
    "message": "This key does not have the 'lead_magnets:write' scope.",
    "requiredScopes": ["lead_magnets:write"],
    "grantedScopes": ["lead_magnets:read"]
  },
  "requestId": "req_01j9xabc..."
}

Authentication#

Every request must carry a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Tokens follow the format NDK_<env>_<kid>.<secret> where <env> is live or test. See Authentication for the full token spec and scope list.

Webhooks#

Instead of polling, you can subscribe to push events. Nodukan delivers signed POST payloads to your endpoint whenever something happens — a new lead, a post published, a chat received. See Webhooks for setup, payload format, and HMAC verification.

Rate limits#

The API uses a 60-second sliding window. Limits vary by plan. See Rate Limits for headers and retry guidance.

Quick example#

Get your account details with a single HTTP call:

curl https://api.nodukan.com/v1/account \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer NDK_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"

Response:

{
  "data": {
    "id": "usr_01j9x...",
    "name": "Priya Sharma",
    "email": "[email protected]",
    "username": "priyasharma",
    "plan": "pro",
    "timezone": "Asia/Kolkata",
    "createdAt": "2024-08-15T09:00:00Z"
  },
  "requestId": "req_01j9xabc..."
}
